I'm trying to hard-wire a dash cam into my 2016 Impala LT with the 3.6l V6. I guess I'm getting my constant power and accessory wires hooked up with fuses that aren't steady one way or the other, as the camera just won't work as expected, and sometimes doesn't come on at all. Plug it in with the outlet adapter and its fine every time, but I'd like to lose the big cord, and hard-wiring allows for the cam to record when parked if something happens.

What are my best bets for the constant and accessory fuse slots in the interior box that's on the left of the steering wheel?

Somehow youre going to have to have a wiring schematic for the cabin fuse box. There is where youre going to find your constant 12v. If you know where you plug in to get constant power, you can tap into that wiring.
