Alright guys, I realize this is not news, but I am getting tired of moving threads. This section is for Automotive discussion only. NOT questions about YOUR vehicle. If you have questions about YOUR vehicle, please post them in the proper forum. Thank you!

Due to the widespread inability to read stickies or forum descriptions, EVERY thread that is attempted to be posted in Auto Discussion will have to approved by a mod/admin. So, please...think twice before posting topics in the wrong forum.

Thank you in advance,

The automotive industry is a term that covers a wide range of companies and organisations involved in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, and selling of motor vehicles, towed vehicles, motorcycles and mopeds. It is one of the world's most important economic sectors by revenue.
The term automotive industry usually does not include industries dedicated to the maintenance of automobiles following delivery to the end-user, such as repair shops

Bump because people are either:
A. Illiterate
B. Don't give a flying eff about the rules

No matter which it is, I have no tolerance. Your improperly placed threads will be deleted with no notice.

Thank you.

I could not find a section that fit my last post so I put it in automotive discussion as it is automotive discussion, hope it went into the right place!

I just created a thread for the first time in Automotive Discussion about a door lock and dashboard gage problem I'm having. I just saw this thread about that being the wrong forum.

Could I get a mulligan this once now that I know about the rules and have the thread moved to the proper place by a mod? Sorry about that!

In looking more thoroughly around the forums, it looks like my problem should probably go under "Mechanical and Electrical." But I'm not a forum genius and am only guessing.

Nevermind, my new thread that I just created can be deleted. I found an existing thread on this subject in Performance and Technical/Mechanical and Electrical and posted my problem in there.
