Cowboys vs Steeler games were awesome!!
Growing up in the Ohio Valley, I often cheered for the Steelers. The Bengals were closer, but they often weren't worth cheering for :)

After 20 years in the Dallas area, I've warmed up enough to the Cowboys to be a fair weather fan...which means I still spend most of my time cheering for the Steelers ;)

For sure, I have low expectations for the Cowboys this year.
...

Coach Landry was often recognized for his stoicism on the sideline. Knowing that he had flown 30 missions in a B-17 in the 8th Air Force during WW2, I figure, after his war experiences, there wasn't really anything going on in the game that was scary enough to get him very excited ;)

I'm actually a life-long Steelers fan myself (grew up in Pittsburgh)!

But yeah, Tom Landry was the man. Always in a suit and tie on the sidelines, with his hat...

Man, how times have changed... We went from respectful, realistically-paid players and coaches that wore suits on the sidelines to players that make a fortune and won't even stand for the national antem.... <sigh>
