My 2014 impala Ltz keeps having no remote detected but try’s to start then sounds like the battery is dead. It locked my radio up so I figured to start looking at fuses. Came across What looks like a cigarette lighter phone charger plugged into a another in the fuse panel by the drivers door. Any ideas? I have photos but file sizes are too big

If your car is a new body style Impala with push button start, the remotes probably need new batteries. My 2015, built in July 2014, needed them replaced about a year ago. To get the car to start, I had to place the remote in the console in a little pocket that's made for it. This procedure is in the owner's manual. My dealer replaced them for free.
