hey whats up fellas? i just got a new door for my 92 roadmaster. so i took the old one off and put the new one on without shims and decided it needed them. the door is the front passenger one. when i close it it kind of looks like its too far back towards the back door and the top of the door sticks out a little bit. any ideas of what all i would need to do to fix these problems? thanks for the help guys

When i mount doors, i always mount them where the old doors paint markings were. Then i adjust the door by moving the striker on the body to adjust closure. You can move the door up and down slightly when mounting the screws also. Another thing is the hinge pins could possibly need replacement. Those wear out and cause the door to sag. Hopefully this helps!
