I am Trying to figure out if my 08 impala Lt has an alarm system… i have Only a key when i got It last month .. how would i be Able to tell ?

Only two ways to tell. One is get in the car with the drivers window down, lock it then manually pull the drivers lock up and open the door. OR of your car has it there should be car with a 🔐 symbol on the dash when you start the car OR when you lock it.
