Ever since I bought my car a year ago, my airbag light comes on at random times.. it's an '03 impala.. can anyone tell me if its just an electrical problem, or should i lean my seat back to avoid getting a face full of airbag every time it comes on? i hope not the latter because airbag dust is the worst taste on earth.
i'd rather eat poo.

There is an electrical problem, probably a sensor or connection. When the light is on the airbag will not inflate so no cause for alarm there. Any mechanic with a high end scanner tool may be able to connect and tell you why the light keeps coming on.
