AC Low Pressure Switch Bypass

My AC is not working right now, and my first step is going to be trying to bypass the low pressure switch to see if the AC clutch engages to know if it is the clutch/compressor or if it just needs a recharge. I have looked at a wiring diagram and there are three wires going the switch: gray (5v REF out), red/black (which runs from the switch to the A/C pressure switch input), and black (ground wire of some sort). My question is which wires do I connect together to successfully bypass the switch?

Year, make, model, and engine size (and perhaps the type of compressor) would be helpful.
I have a 2005 Chevrolet Impala Base Model with a 3.4L engine. I am not sure what compressor type it is.
