I have a 2006 Impala LT and I have been having issues with the AC. Few months ago the air was working great . Then it stop blowing cold air. So I took it to Advance to get it re-charged and it stop blowing cold air all together. When I try and cut the AC on the orange light blinks a few times then cuts off. I also feel/ hear a small jerk and my car hesitates when I try to accelerate. Then I had my boyfriend to look at it yesterday . It comes on and stays on , I even cut the car off a few times and it stayed on and blew cold. Even this morning it stayed on until half way to work it cuts off again and won't come back on. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestion what the problem may be ? Thanks in advance !

You have a low refrigerant charge.
Best to take it to a a/c shop and have them give it a
correctly done r-134 recharge.

Using a can of parts store recharge may work IF your
compressor IS turning on and will suck the new r-134
into the system. IF the existing r-134 charge already
in your system is too low the compressor will not operate
OR suck in the new r-134 charge.
(thats why your a/c light flashes)

The a/c shop knows the "tricks" to start the compressor
so it will suck in the new r-134 re-charge.

This has NOTHING to do with your hesitation issue!
