I thought I would relate this issue I had with my 2001 Impala . The ABS light kept coming on and off on a regular basis and the ABS would pump , when braking and NOT braking , also when I turned right or left . I crawled under the car unplugged all the ABS speed sensor harnesses at the connection points by the rear wheels and where they plug into the body above the rear axle. Cleaned them and tightly connected them. At the front I did the same, the right front wheel harness unspun when I released it, it was too tight when re-installed by some other person and resulted in the connection to the right front sensor, turning on the ABS light. After cleaning and connecting the harness properly , the problem is fixed and the ABS light is now off and the ABS works perfectly. I hope this can help someone..Thx....Tim:smile:
