Attached is the only GM list of RPO Codes and Definitions that I have left. The others were lost awhile back in a Backup hdd failure. But they were not as handy. This one is over 400 pages and seems to be comprehensive but many RPO Codes on my vehicle's label are not represented in the list attached here as pdf.

Hoping others might chime-in with other pdf versions of GM RPO Code lists.

GM has recycled a lot of RPO codes over the years. For instance what LT1 engine RPO means depends on the year.

The lists you really want are the ones from the parts books for your model & years.

I have light truck parts books from 1966 all the way through 1993 when they stopped putting them on paper. I scanned all of them and gave copies to GMPartsWiki.com
Ian has put together a massive library of Parts books.

I have the 94 through 2001 CK ST G M & P Parts books on fiche. I know they published parts books on fiche up to the 2010-2013 ish range.

@hatzie

Yep.

It's unexpected that these all seem undated and therefore hard to attribute to vehicles.

Going thru all these helpful provided RPO Lists, plus others found over time, I've been able to identify nearly all numbers on my 2010's SPID. To date I only have it written on paper but if I can make a little more headway then I'm going to type it in for my Impala file.

It has given me more hints on suspension but it's criptic. For example, in one case (over 4 RPO numbers) it seems to indicate the front and rear suspension are somehow electronically managed. Inspecting, I see no indicators. So it must mean something else. Maybe it's indicating to Dealer to look for suspension details electronically on the GM computer system. Dunno.

Anyway, I started a thread for vetting my findings regarding what info is on my car's SPID. Maybe that process will over time give us on this forum a hand.
