Are you referring to the "Collectors Edition" badges on the '96 Roadmasters? Buick was the only division to mark the end of the B line with special badging and it was on all '96 Roadmasters.

Is there any difference?

I'd have to agree, never seen that on an SS before. Not factory that I've ever heard.
