Hi guys/gals, I just traded in my LT for an SS, and now I have an extra almost new exhaust system sitting in my garage...

it is the MagnaFlow 16708 kit for 8th gen impalas. Everything is included, i just no longer need it. It only has about 1000 miles on it so far. I'm not gonna try and gouge anybody, especially on the forums. I am asking $650 for it. It sells for much higher than this, and like i said, is basically still new. I could potentially be interested in trade for goodies for my '08 SS :)

It comes with everything you need, except a stock exhaust hanger for the driver side (if your car came stock with single exhaust), which can be found at the dealer for about $20.

See pics below:

Hit me up if your interested.

ok... less than i paid and this system only has around 1000 miles on it...looks dirty, but i didn't wash it... How about $500? I would use it, but my new SS already has 2.5" dual exhaust so i don't need it.

Does your SS already have a custom exhaust? Or is the 2.5" stock?

If its stock exhaust I would def throw the catback on.

And in regard to it being only 1000 miles on it, you cant certainly tell... that stainless will shine up like new.

the SS has factory exhaust. i hooked up this one to it, and while i loved the sound it made on my V6, i don't like the sound on my V8.
I am just gonna put a hogan downpipe and a set of super 44 flowmasters on it.

WallyLO,
if you want i may be able to find time to hook it back up and take a sound clip. It all comes down to personal preference... i want a little bit beefier sound than what I get out of the MagnaFlow for my SS, which is why i was thinking flowmaster. I thought it sounded awesome on my LT with the 3.5L.

i want SOMETHING. i hate the stock set up. the sound is nice, but wayyyy to quiet. That would be cool if you could do that, but i have actually been considering getting an electric cut out.
