i put an oem steering back into my car (had aftermarket in it) i bought a new horn wire .yellow w/ spring on one end ,and just a plug end on the other.i for the life of me can't see where it plugs into unless i'am missing something or somethings broke off.? the manuals dont show or tell me anything.
there is no tabs on horn pad.that is what i thought but it brand new and there is none

The wire(w/ the connector) you have goes on the steerin wheel, on the bottom side(on the back side). The spring anchors to the inside of the steerin wheel and the wire(w/ the connector) plugs into the steerin column.

You have to pull the steerin wheel off to replace this wire. As it in the inside of the steerin wheel, between and the top of the column and the back/bottom side of the steerin wheel.

I was going replace the one on my Silverado. Where somehow the lock for the spring got broke. But instead, I sold it before I got around to makin the repair/replacement.
