Selling for a friend 75 caprice classic convertible automatic ,chrome trim (stick on) coming loose. Surface rust in trunk,some bubbling under rear window. Crack in center of dash. * track still working. Runs strong 93000 miles.New tires. Asking advice on what my asking price should be. Thank you for your help in advance. Located in Southern New Jersey Cape May area

Making a wild guess, I'd say 2-3k dollars for the casual buyer, maybe 3-4k$ for a collector (of Chevys from that time frame).

here cars like that go for a lot more that 2k-3k. Ones in good to great condition go for 14k and up. Ive seen them sell for over 20k in great condition. I think my cousin sold his 72 for somewhere around 16k but it was much cleaner. no rust, immaculate restored interior/top and cleaner engine bay. In that condition i dont see why you couldn't get at least 7k maybe more with a little luck
