there is a 66 chevy impala 283ci for sale for $2000 if I were to buy it and fix it up would I be wasting my time and money or would it be a good investment.
Matching numbers, engine runs, has 39,000 original miles on it, no big mechanical or electrical problems, body needs work and needs paint. Let me know your opinion on what I should do, thanks.

A very good investment. The 1966 is very collectible. If the body work is not extensive, the price is right - and you can paint it the color you want.

It sure sounds good. I'd look at pics on the net of same looking cars and see if you're going to like it once it gets fixed up. Chances are, if you know you'll like it, plenty of other people will too. It sure sounds great, though. Sure wish I had a nice car to fix up..well and the money to fix it up with too...lol
