Good afternoon, I just purchased a 66 Nova from a gentleman in NY (I live in Texas). The car had a 327/300 HP Turbo Fire out of a 62 Impala put in it. The car is at a friends shop having a CPP brake and Steering kit installed, he noticed the car had AC-Delco R45TS's, I thought all double hump heads from that era used the 13/16 plug with straight threads and a gasket. I won't be able to pull the plugs until this weekend as I am out of town. Am I correct in the fact that the plugs should be straight threads with a gasket and if so can I put the correct plugs back in if they did not damage the threads. What is strange is the car runs great with no firing or idling issues.

Thanks in advance for your help.
George
