2018 Impala Instrument Panel (all) stopped working

I had a dead battery and replaced it with same battery (amps) as prior. The car started no issue, but all instrument panels (gages, radio, interior lights, etc.) aren't working. I've replaced numerous car batteries in all manner of vehicle and never experienced anything like this.

I could check the fuses but everything was working on a drive home yesterday evening so a blown fuse seems odd (though not entirely improbable, I guess). I think all cables were connected to the battery when I replaced it but perhaps i missed something?

Has anyone had this happen or know the fix? TIA!!

I’ve replaced the battery in my 2014 Impala 2LTZ twice - and never had a problem.

I suspect you may have not connected one or more of the cables for fuse panel that is on top of the battery, or blown a fuse. I would check each one closely. You may try disconnecting the negative cable and seeing if anything resets.

Good news. I went and checked all battery attached fasteners again and while they were all screwed down it seems they weren't 100% seated. once i re-tightened them i checked and all IP lights and gages are working properly. Whew! So, user error but an easy fix. Glad i am working from home these days and didn't need to drive my car.

my advice, check all nuts and fasteners there could be one not fully tightened down.
