2018 center console arm rest hinge question
I traded in my 2008 Impala for a 2018 Impala recently. The 2008 center console arm rest seemed to be on hydraulics or at least a spring loaded hinge, it would raise and lower slowly, and hold position if lifted up all the way. My 2018 Impala's center console arm rest seems to be just "free" and will flop up and down when I open it. Is this by design, or is there something broken with it that I can repair fairly easily?
