2012 LT - Back PCV

Hello Folks,

I've read that there is a back PCV on my 2012 Impala. Does anyone have a picture of where it might be? I haven't changed any of the PCV stuff since I got the car, and I've got 170,000+ miles on it.

Is this it right here?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Yep thats it on that back corner of the valve cover. You will have to come at it from the passenger side, since its not much room back there and its in pretty tight , so just wiggle and tug up until it comes out. Part is $17 at most Chevy dealers

It's just a pcv barb, not a valve. Main thing is to check the 1 top hole and 2 bottom holes for blockage/plugging.
If that’s a ‘bRb’ not a valve, with the 3 holes that many enlarge(7/64ths & 5/64 Xs 2, & clean pcv valve of shavings with brake cleaner, vacuum, etc.) are on, what I don’t know is what you all mean by ‘back’(cause that word has 2 opposite meanings on 12 impala), or where thats a picture of… or how many pcv valves there are on this car, 1 or 2👋😔 cause the link 1 of you sent calls it’s self a pvc valve - &&& on the drivers rear(which is in some terms, the front)- cause it’s towards front of car, is a black plastic L shaped thing sticking out of valve cover - is that a 2nd pcv valve(or 1st if other 1s a bRb) ?
I’ll answer my own QSTNs - the one on the back, which is tech. the front is a barb, yet that valve many call a pvc valve, the plastic thing on front left(which tech. is back) is an oxygen gas vent not a pvc valve(model v546).. lastly, I beleive there is only 1 pcv valve.. & those who say otherYs R probley the usual typical know it all iDats✋😒
