Hello fellow Impala owners. I created an account to ask one simple question. My 2012 impala LS has a black pinstripe down the side, from headlight to taillight. Does anybody know if this is a stock thing or is it something done by a previous owner. I have never seen another impala with said pinstripe personally. Maybe the pinstripe is a rare stock addition, I'm not really sure. If you know something about please comment, would really like to know

Aftermarket, probably dealer, add-on.

I bought new 2008, 2011 & 2012 Impala LTZ models - ordering all three of them. The pinstripes were not a GM option or standard item.

That is interesting to hear considering the last comment. Did you buy from a dealer? Maybe same situation?

I did. It was on there along with the GM squares by the lower trim on the driver and passenger side front doors. Mine didn't say "Impala" though. I didn't like it so I peeled it off after about a month of owning it, along with the badges and all the trunk emblems.
