So I've lost the screw the holds the shifter knob in place. Any good soles out there able to check their screw for sizing?

During cleanup did you completely lift out the entire center console? If you did then you know how and this is no help to you. But if you did not then here's help for how and if you step thru it you might stumble across the set screw using a retrieve magnet. The video is really about repairing the electric for the shifter button's solenoid. But heck, same steps.

I'm betting the set screw is special length and also betting its not separately identified in dealer parts. So hopefully someone can get to this for you right away. I'm not able until weekend.

BTW the video also shows how to manually press the linkage button under the console to bypass it in order to get it started in case. Not convenient but easy in order to get un-stranded lol.

Thanks for the reply. I actually had to repair the solenoid wiring which resulted in me taking everything apart (and while I was there, do some deep cleaning. Once you get that far down the space where the screw could have gone is vast. Magnet did not help.

Parts diagram for the shifter don't show the screw as an individual piece. So here I sit. Annoyed. First world problems I guess.
