Hello. I have a 2008 Chevy impala every time I drive it after 3-5 mins it will keep shutting off. I sometimes it won’t let me crank it back up right away but after a while it crank back up without no problem & 2 mins later shut off again? I need help.
That sounds like ECM (Electronic Control Modules) or PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is on its way out the door.
There might be a short within the ECM/PCM unit.
Did you recently change your battery out for a new one?
According to what I have read the PCM is supposed to get 9~12 volts from the battery. If the ECM/PCM is getting less than 9 volts going through the ECM then the module needs replacing.
I am not a mechanic, but that is what I found on your stated symptoms of what your 2008 Chevy Impala is giving you issues with.
