2007 SS - Former government car - anything special about it?

Quick question - I recently purchased a 2007 SS about 5 mo ago with only 75k miles. I ran a carfax before purchase and saw the first owner was the Ontario ministry of transportation!

My question is, is there anything special about my SS given it was a Canadian government issue car (ie special add ons/upgraded parts that may not have been on a 'civilian' SS)???

Nope. You could try contacting Kerr Industries in Canada. They are the police upfitter for GM vehicles. If anything was added outside of a regular production 2007 SS, they might have it by VIN. Otherwise, there's nothing different. A Chevrolet that is a GM manufactured car with police options will have a few other items a civilian car does not like the certified calibrated speedometer. A message will come up on the DIC when you start the car that tells you the speedometer is certified calibration. The RPO codes also identifies it as a 9C1 or 9C3.

The 9C1 9C3 had V6 engines.

Run the VIN at Compnine or a local GM dealer for a full list of GM options.
Otherwise look for the upfitters label and call them to find out what they added to it after they got it.

There may not be anything special, but you can claim to have cop tires, cop shocks, cop suspension and a cop motor.

Was it a model made before catalytic converters, and will it 'run good' on regular gas?
