I have a 2007 Impala that has a problem with a worn out linkage plastic bushing on the drivers side. It keeps popping off dome it snaps onto. I would like to know if there is a replacement plastic socket or bushing. If not has anyone changed out the linkage transmission and is it difficult? Video would be nice if available or at least some pics.

1st off i had the same problem, i had it all replaced by bell tire, some told me it was very difficult to fix, if you dont have the right tools, they dont make those plastic parts, just have it replaced.

I could not find anyone that made the plastic or nylon cap that the linkage snapped onto. There was other car models that were available, but none for a 2007 Impala. So I ordered a new wiper transmission for $66.00 and watched a YouTube video of the process of replacing it. It really was not difficult at all. Took about 45 minutes. Saved several hundred dollars over having a garage do the work.
