I was looking at my antifreeze level today to see where it was at.

I popped the hood (cold engine) and saw the antifreeze level all the way at the bottom, i assume this is not good? Then I checked it when the engine was heated up and it was about a quart or close higher. Im assuming it's green antifreeze and not the dex-cool ? How can i be sure?

Also where is the fill level line at, on a 2007 impala antifreeze reservoir?

NYImpala, I'm happy to check my GM resources for you to see if I can find relevant information on this subject! Please send me a private message anytime for further assistance, and including the last eight of your VIN in your message would be very helpful.

Best,

I had a 2000 GMC pickup that took Dexcool so I will assume your car takes it as well.

Never mix the old green stuff with Dexcool. The chemistries are different
