Hello all, new to the site. I have a 2007 model that I replaced the seat motor switch in and everything works, up/down, recline, except forwards and backwards. The door side rail works, the center side rail does not and causes the seat to twist. I got everything taken apart and tried to spin the work drive manually with pliers and the cable that connects to the seat motor but it just spun without turning the seat screw. Is there any way to fix this other than getting a seat from a wrecker/buying a new rail

and motor setup? I can't find just a worm drive for sale.

Safety recall? Aren't seats supposed to be adjustable encase your stuck? Hence why they operate usually without ignition switch on.... Maybe that's changed though..
Read through your owners manual and warranty booklet carefully. Bring it with you next time. It's your meal ticket. It says you need to present it during such situations. Literally it's your golden ticket . These two things i mentioned...
Good luck
