I just bought an '07 Impala which has the remote start feature, which I have only been able to successfully use once. I don't know what the keypad sequence is to make it start...does anyone else know? The manual for the car wasn't included, so I don't know how to find out...

shouldn't it have a half circle arrow on the top? you just make sure your doors are locked and then hold the arrow button.

On my 06 I have to lock the doors and engage the alarm. Hit lock button twice and then the half circle arrow button

For my '06 I have to hit "lock" and then hold down the circle button at the top until it starts. (3-5 seconds).

Also, if your check engine light is on it won't start.

My range is poor though and I am fighting with Chevy to get a different antenna or whatever it needs to make it better. What good is a remote start if you have to be within 40 feet of the car for it to start?

also if your hood is open or some other weird stuff, the remote start won't work.
