I have a 2007 3.5L and decided one day that I wanted a bit more sound from the exhaust. After much deliberation I decided to put a Thrush Glasspack on. I personally like the sound a lot. It's a bit loud inside the car, but outside I think it's great. I went with a glasspack because my friends brother had one on another V6 car and I liked it, also because it was cheap and I'm a poor college student.

I've had mixed reactions to it so far. Some people laugh at me while other people think it sounds good. What are some of your opinions?

you're probably gonna get the same reactions here....at first I was like, "wtf really?". But after thinking about it for a min, I ended at "whatever". Exhaust is a very subjective thing in reality. Some people will swear flowmasters are the only way to go, some people will swear magnaflows are the only way to go. I all depends on what you like to hear. I guess I have to say "bravo" for thinking outside the box on that one. As far as interior noise is concerned, there's only one way to fix it, and it's pretty radical, you have to take out all the seats, and carpet, and lay down some sound deadening insulation. Probably in the trunk too, actually, that's probably where most of the sound is coming from since it's not insulated in any way, into the trunk and through the back seat.

Thank you for being honest. Usually if I get laughed at at some gas station I just shrug it off because I like it. I plan on switching it out when I get a bit more money and can afford it. As for the noise inside, I've gotten used to it. I only get complaints from people whove never ridden in my car usually.

I would love to hear a video clip. If you like it, thats all that matters. I have been thinking I want something a little more "grumbly" myself on my 09 SS.
