I have a 2003 chevy impala with roughly 133K out of the four vents on the dash, when the air is turned on, the two on the driver side blow cold air, while the two facing the passenger blow very hot air, tried the thermostat, don't know what else it could be.

It almost sounds like a Blend Door Actuator issue... It could be a control unit issue. However it isn't always going to have an issue of a Clicking Actuator when it goes bad!?

I am going to assume that your car has a Dual Controls for hot and cold. Driver and Passenger?

There are motors that are under the dash that control things for the heat and Ac of the cars. It could be that the one for the drivers side is stuck in the cold because the Actuator is bad?
