I replaced water pump already . When driving I can see that thermostat is opening and closing properly but now when Im idling or stopped it's getting hot. I'm not sure my fans are working properly all the time . Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated .
Thank you

If you are "Running-Hot", ... Don't!
Get tactical.
Carry coolant. Keep Radiator and Overflow Tank on the Mark after you Sharpie™ where those Coolant Level's need to be.
Expel heat. Turn Heater Full-on. Windows open.
....................

If it's Fans not responding to thermo-sensors.
Do 'Damage Control!'

Run a BIG Load wire to those FANS.
Force FAN cooling.
Pass a Load wire through an Inline +20Amp Fuse. Bring the Load Wire through relay's that close when the Key's on.

Get an Automotive Infrared Laser Point Thermometer.
To isolate the fault; you've got to find it.
A budget minded I.R. Thermostat will do the trick.
Just don't drop it!
