I own a 2002 Chevy Impala. I was wondering if anybody out there knew how to remove the hubcaps. The paint on mine are chipping and I would like to replace them with new ones. I understand that there is some kind of tool that you use to remove them, but I have not been able to find it anywhere.

Any help and/or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Gently loosen the plastic bolts that clamp the hubcap onto the wheel, using a socket, and gently loosen them. It should just pop right off once you have loosened them, If you want to have extra protection but a thin rag or something in the socket before loosening.

Thats how i have done it on many different cars, I dont know if Impalas require anything special or not. Good luck though.

all you need is a 19mm socket
