for the sake of your car, please don't go over 20s the transaxle won't hold up too long with large wheels

lowering, running 18s will give you the best look and ride, plus not add the extra stress to your transaxle.

Grab your shoes and a sharp knife. Cut off all but an 1/8 inch of the sole and wear these exclusively for a week and see how the "ride" is and how your body is feeling.

The only way 22s would hurt the axle if you doing burn outs on them and 20s is not all that bad either.... sense its you first time buying wheel go with what you feel..... Personally I started with 20s and then went up to 22s and right now im on stocks only because im not back home at the time....

Lower than 20s man! Trust me. I have 22"s and I sure as Hell miss my stocks. The ride isn't just the same. Waiting for income tax to snatch up some tires for my stocks.

so stopping and going doesn't count as putting stress on the trans?
and turning big ass 22's doesnt stress anything?

stick with smaller than 20's if you want your
trans
wheel bearings
hubs
rotors
brake pads
tie rods
struts
ect too last
especially with a 8th gen impala

^ I think the reason why that happen was perhaps they weren't 5x115 and maybe they were 5x114.3?!
