I tried to pull codes from the ALDL to see why my car won't start, but the service engine light just goes out when I hook the jumper wire from the ground to the test terminal. It doesn't flash. It just goes out until I unhook the wire. I don't know if I need a code reader or new computer or what might be wrong.

You'll need a code reader to get the codes for 94/95 OBD1 B-bodies. Jumping the A/B pins doesn't work on them. FYI, Autozone has one for sale for around $30 that is compatible with it.
