Ok so I made the conversion to an alternator on my 1960 belair.that had the original generator.
One wire alternator is so easy to hook up just one heavy wire from the battery to the pole on the alternator.

My problem is there is so little information out there about what to do with the regulator wires.
I have disconnected the feild wire and Gen wire and connected the wire from the battery to the battery post on the regulator. (3 posts on the old regulator)
I dont think I got it right so I am asking if anyone out there knows what to do with the old wires.
Although my volt meter shows 14volts and nothing has smoked "YET"
HELP................:WTF:

1 wire

you got it right just the one wire to the batt the regulator wires can just be taped off in case you ever go back to stock after you disconnect them.
I am using the main wire from the batt to my fuse block seems to all be working well.

yep 14 volts is correct its a volt meter not an amp meter.
