[BAD IMP]

When would it be suggested to install one of these? Would an intake and catback exhaust change require one? I live by the beach in maryland so summers can be in the 90's

It is a 160 degree stat. It depends on what you want and need. I have one in my car, runs a lot cooler now, but I live in Las Vegas and it gets above 110 a lot in July and Aug. If you drive your car in the winter, it will not put out much heat in that cold weather. Also, if you install it you need to get your PCM programmed for it or you will not get the performance benefits. A intake or catback will not require it.
