So just curious if anyone has come across this.... I was under my car changing the oil and found that the rear mount bracket was loose and actually had cracked two of the bolt holes off. It looked like an old break and that was kind of surprising because it's something that I wouldn't want to drive around with mainly because the CV axil actually goes through it. Long story short It was terrible to change out and I had to get it from a local gm dealership not to mention trying to figure out what it was called.

I think this had been taken apart before I purchased the car, not sure why but I made sure to threadlock the bolts and snug them good... No problems yet 6k miles later.

That is what gm calls the bracket at the rear of the 3.6 that the CV axil centering bearing runs through. It's on the passenger side of the engine
