Hey guys, I bought a dual subwoofer with a built in amp from Walmart to put in my 2002 Impala. I don't know what I'm doing for the most part lol. I've also bought RCA cables and extra wires just in case I have to go the complexed route. I've read that you could bypass the factory amp but not sure how to do that. I also have a after market stereo, so is there an easy way to do this? Or do I have to pull the dash, mess with wires the complex stuff?

There’s no need to bypass the factory amp. You’ll need your factory amp for your factory speakers. Just run power, ground and your remote wire to the amp in the sub and you’ll be good along with the rca cables.
I just have a cheap set up it still bumps tho

So connect them to the factory amp and the rca cables to the unit?
