We've owned this car since new, and has done this I swear 2.5 seconds after warranty ran out. First think in morning, the throttle acts like it's stuck, have to blip the gas pedal, then it's fine. After sitting at work all day, usually it acts the same way, sometimes it's alright. If it only sits for a few hours it's OK too. I tried lubing whatever I could see around the throttle body, etc, but nothing so far has repaired this problem. Any suggestions?

there is muck making the throttle plate inside your throttle body stick when closed and cold. It is common and it needs to be cleaned out. Before taking on this task yourself, make sure the mass air flow meter is not located on the throttle body because if it is, and you spray any cleaner on it, you will ruin it, if you are not sure take it to a shop, its not a expensive fix and one that requires no parts to be replaced.
