The size it's not so much of a concern as reliability followed by programming. IL have to dig into this more after I finish my dip, and running my rgb leds&wires
I guess I bought this circuit building app for nothing lol

Reliability is not an issue with these things. As for programming, I'd just find a local kid that's on a FIRST Robotics team and bet him $50 that he can't program an Arduino to do what you want. Or you could buy a programming app too.

BTW, Your wheels peg the cool meter. I just bought a 2013 LTZ that I swore would remain bone stock, but now...not so much.

Do you think black would work on a silver car?

702's LTZ build (Picture heavy)

I might be able to help some man, after all I'm going to school for programming haha. But that is computer programs but it can't be too difficult.

Agreed it would look good. You can get an idea with Silver4Door, although he did gunmetal.

LOLZ! There's no way you could be biased when it comes to silver.

Just keep us posted.

I'd also like to point out that you did a fine job routing the wires on your various upgrades. Not many people will take the time to do this and it goes a very long way toward making electronics reliable for the long run.

How did you etch the wheels before applying the plasticoat? What the.heck is plasticoat anyway? I practically grew up in a body shop and I've never heard of this.

No bias at all

No etching needed. Plasti-dip is a "rubberized" spray paint. It's basically spray-on rubber. It will peel off when you want, and will leave the factory finish underneath. Clear coat will make it MUCH more difficult to come off, and will give it a glossy finish.

@702 - what are the little white squares on your headlights (where the turn-signal bulb is)?

Thanks Ryd. I wasn't fixing to mask each rim with a time investment of 4-6hours each. I stI'll like how it turned out

Jt, I fitted some 20 watt (very bright) chip on board style leds inside the headlight, since then I haven't felt like screwing with the headlights, some thing happened and they started acti ng up, so those are led pods for turn signals. As shown v

I think the wheels tie in very nicely with all the other dipped parts on the car. Very clean IMHO!

The blue wheels look good. Definitely different. But the darker wheels looked more sinister.

I can't believe you're working outside. We had freezing rain all evening for a nice 1/2 inch of ice.

It must be true. What happens in Vegas...
