Well aside from the full car dip, which will be VERY soon, I planned on dipping the interior woodgrain and possibly the calipers to match. After that I intend on going with a darker tint, installing fogs with HIDs as well as switching my brights to HIDs. That would be it for a while until I can save up for bigger mods like new seats, body kit and hood with scoop (looks SICK on this body style!). But the big mods are down the road because I do not have the money for that right now, but I can dream

I'm loving the grey on black, looks clean.
I also have chrome under my dipped wheels too.
You live in Hillsborough county? I'm like 10 minutes away from you
Can't wait to see the dipped car, I've been waiting to dip mine over a year now.

I don't live in Hillsborough but I do commute there twice a week. I just received my dip and pigment. Here is what it looks like...

Yeah I miss read your previous post. Is that evo in the picture dipped? Kind of hard to tell... but the color looks good definitely will be a unique 8th gen for sure.

Im interested to see that color dip on the 8th gen with the body kit.possibly a tine tone with the blueish dip and black. Very unique. What wattage and temp color you going for on the hids?

The evo is dipped.

I honestly haven't thought about it yet because I've been studying dipping so much lately since it will be my first whole car dip. After that is done I'll look into it. I have 10,000ks as my running lights though, they're a nice bright blueish white.

I never heard of 10k hids being blue and white. 10ks are know for the blue only. Right now im running 35w 6000k for my fogs its more of a white blue. The cool white. I would recommend them to match your paint/dip

5000k = white
6000k = bluish white
8000k = ice blue
10000k = blue
Anything above 10000k is getting to be in the purple range.

IMO 8000k is the tops, and even that is pushing it. You lose light output as you go up, but the 6000k just aren't quite blue enough for me. I see a fair number of OEM HID headlights that closely resemble the 8000k color, although the majority are closer to 6000k

Are they 35w or 55w? If they're 55w, 10000k will look closer to the 8000k temperature. It also depends on the company who makes the bulbs, especially as you get into the higher kelvin ratings

Well I was horribly mistaken. I could have sworn they were 10ks but they're actually 15ks on 35watts. I had forgotten what I ordered :p I checked my amazon order history.

15ks 35w is still blue. Not blueish white. What brand are the hids?
