My old girl has her old transmission removed and they even tore it down. Here is what led to it's failure. It is the governor. And a pics of the guts of the THM200. They found plenty of wear for only having 43K since last overhaul.

New THM350 about to be assembled. They will have it assembled by end of Today and the new torque converter will be in on Monday. I might even get to drive it home on Monday. It appears to be Atomic Fire Ball Edition, LOL. The rebuilder told me the supply company sends the quote of the day and a Fire Ball with each clutch kit.

Did the big brake upgrade yesterday. Stainless lines, Camaro calipers, and whatever rotors came with the kit from ZZP. Threw a little paint to clean up the rusty looking bits and to ward off rust on the new calipers.

Before:

little paint

Picked it up from the transmission shop. Did a little bit of testing today but not a power take off test since it is raining here and the roads are wet (8 inches of rain in a week). I will test it out some more tomorrow before my wife and daughter take it down to big D for a doctors appointment.

It is more responsive than the THM 200 ever was. Only thing I am concerned about is that shift to 2nd is much firmer than I am use to. Shift to third is very smooth.

Also did not get to get her up onto the highway yet, looking forward to see how she handles getting up to highway speed quickly. Tomorrow I will also check and see if it has the guts to pick up passing gear at 55 to 65 miles an hour. The old THM 200 could not do so.

Doing mine Saturday. I was going to last weekend but ran into some issues. The rotors in the ZZP kit I believe are 13.6” mine are the 14” GT500 rotors. How does it stop? Do any stoppies yet

Still haven't driven the car at all. I don't know how you're going to fit 14" rotors under there. The 13.6 rotors actually just barely scrape against the brake pad retaining clip. I gotta see what I can do to fix that.

Pala-beats? Trying to remember his name on here. He has them and is actually the one who told me about the parts.

Installed new pads and rotors on the front. Realized after the fact I was given the wrong pads (received semi metallic instead of ceramic). now I have to go back amd make sure I still have life time warranty on my ceramic pads... man I don't wasn't to tear it back apart again. Also installed new h1 Philips bulbs in my spyder headlights since I've had a blown bulb for a while now. Left it in the barn overnight due to another 3-6 inches of snow that fell by surprise....
