I kind of half detailed my 2002 Impala today. I didnít have any carpet cleaner or I would have done it and I donít have any before pictures. But hereís the after pictures.
Front no seats

Rear no seats

Front with seats

Front seats

Rears with seats

Only took me an hour to two hours. Really wish I could have gotten the stains out of the carpet though. Thinking about pricing new carpet and just replacing it. What do you guys think?

Them are some nasty funky stains you get there Mr. YIKES!
Someone rebuild a transmission in there or something ?

I have used this stuff in the past and am pretty impressed with how well it works.

Folex Company

It's not expensive and might be worth another got at it with the seats out. Spray it on, rub it in with a nail brush and let it cook for a bit. Water rinse with your carpet cleaner or with a wet dry shop vac works well.

If it will not get the majority of the stains out then buy a new carpet, but them are expensive I believe and a PITA to swap out and get fit right.

Hey itís possible haha. No idea what happened to the car before I got it. Thanks for the information! Iíll definitely give that stuff a try!

I checked out the price online and it was like 150 dollars for a whole new piece. Seems like if I did that I might be biting off more than I can chew haha. Still a junior mechanic over here haha.

Yes! another snow lover! The salt is definitely one of the worst things about winter. (Beaten by icy intersections, black ice and slipping on ice patches of course)

I can't wait to hit the slopes!

We snow lovers are few and far between these days it seems. What I say is that whatever state you live in, learn to love all the weather there

I hate the snow, it's worthless.

I drove the Impala down to Wawa today and grabbed a delicious Gobbler sub. Hot turkey, gravy, dressing and cranberry on a sub roll... mmmm

Ordered my spyder cffl halo headlights. going to try and use the power connectors from the current buckets to make them plug and play so I don't have to splice into the cars harness. Will install them thanksgiving weekend along with the new ammo power lead (have done corrosion and a splice or two in the existing wire from the past 7 years time to replace it before it causes more issues).

Put on my Michelin X-ice winter wheels on the Impalar. I'm hoping we don't get much snow yet over here, but you never know. Better safe than slipping.

I'm sure that you will be happy with the Spyder CCFL halo headlights. After trying a few others (one less expensive and one more expensive), I've found the Spyders to be significantly better than the other brands. It does take a bit of time and effort to get them all wired up - and also to aim them properly (aiming them is a PITA, to be honest - thankfully, you generally only have to aim them once!) - but once the initial setup work is done, they are fantastic headlights. I've had mine installed for years and not a single issue to report. And I find the light output to be fantastic as well.

Looking forward to your thoughts and pictures!!!

I'll definitely consider this upgrade if my stock headlights were to break.

through amazon i paid for the extra 30 dollar 4 year square trade warranty. i figure that gives me 4 years of coverage just in case i run into another issue (which many people here have said they had 0 issues with it beyonds a goofy headlight adjustment proceedure).

if you go to spyders website and check out their how to videos it gives a decent idea how to wire in the halo's/leds. looks fairly simple, just takes a little time to identify which wires are which in the harness.
