Needed new rear brakes and rotors at 68,000 miles.
Did them myself for $130 in parts.
Cleaned the crud and corrosion off the parking brake
and checked for proper operation.
Rear factory Goodyears still in good shape.

What happened, Jeff? Were you pushing that new turbo a little too hard or what?!?! Damn...

However, being that you work for a body shop, I'm sure you'll get it straightened out (pun intended)!

Recent upgrades to my 09 SS with 69,000 miles...
A/C Delco Profesional loaded police & taxi front struts (made in China)
KYB loaded rear struts (made in Japan)
Big Brake Upgrade
Raybestos Rotors (made in China)
A/C Delco Remanufactured Calipers (rebuilt in Mexico)
Do we make anything in the USA anymore???

Just curious, how do the A/C Delco struts compare to the KYB ready struts? I have the Monroe Quickstruts all around and might need to upgrade in the near future.

Too soon to tell, I installed the KYB's this morning...if I knew Delco didn't have loaded rear struts for 18" wheels I would have gone KYB all the way around.

after having the kyb's complete struts ( rock auto complete kit)on my 2010 since spring i can say that once they completely broke in they are similar to stock in feel. a little on the firm side, big bumps still hit hard ( i loved them when they were first installed, all nice and plush lol). i guess i can say it corners as well maybe a little better than before (the old struts were bad for a while so i can't remember what it was like when i first got the car).

I say coilovers all the way, but then again, I am a bit biased.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It was a simple case of me being in a rush and not paying enough attention. Pulled out in front of somebody. Luckily all damage was relatively minor, and nobody was hurt (aside from ego).

Started the repair process. Yesterday I "cut-in" the junkyard door I bought. I stripped it down to the shell, cleaned it, scuffed it, and painted the inside, "jambs", and around the top.

Today, I hung the door on the car, got it aligned (still needs a little minor tweaking), and de-trimmed the rest of the car in preparation for body work. Here is the car fully detrimmed
