trust me if i knew how to paint I'd be right in there doing it myself.

UPDATE: should be getting new tires within a week or two. looking at either fitting 285's or 275's. Obviously the wider the better but there seems to be a discrepancy regarding the contact patch with a 285 wide wheel on an 8.5" rim.

Got new tires mounted yesterday, Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR. I went with a wider size on all four corners at 275/40r17. Rides like it's on rails, day and night difference from the balding Kuhmo tires.

No i've actually got more clearance with those then I did with the 255/50's. I ended up putting the front well trim back on. At full lock i've still got about 1/2"-1" of clearance

something about the tire aspect ratio compared with the front suspension. I don't honestly understand it myself but hey i'm not complaining!

here's some recent shots of it I took today..
http://flic.kr/p/dpzy2Q

Also did some tire & suspension "testing" today. It was just all in fun but the reality is the tires are glued to the road. And despite how slow it looks, i'm actually pushing it quite hard through the circle.... or as hard as i could with a big gulp in a puny cup holder

I like your horn at 0:15 sec. through the video LOL. Looks much SICKER with the smaller side wall, makes the SS wheels look bigger.

Thanks!!

Decided kind of randomly that it was time to strip down my interior and "restore" what I can. Replace floor carpet and rear decklid carpet, repaint all plastic panels, and redo leather on interior seats. I also plan on adding a little custom flare with some gauges just below the dash for trans temp and power steering temperature for the track next season.

First step was to take out the bottom of the rear seats:

Next the top of the rear seats as well as the rear decklid carpet, panels, and noise reduction materials:

Found an old french fry in the back under a plastic panel... god only knows how long this has been there!

Looks like I'm not the only one that has ridden in this car before....

I got a little side tracked when my friend showed up with his 9c1 caprice. We were doing a little exhaust modification

Random shot from the garage:

Passenger seat out... nasty looking carpet, anyone know a good place to order from?

Got my friend's exhaust cut, sounds beefy!

So far i'm making money on this interior project!

Here's a video from inside the car with stripped interior:
^foot wasn't to the floor until about 3k, i rolled on throttle... I don't wanna waste new tires just yet!

More to come soon!
