08 impala dark mode

Hello,I have an 08 impala police car. This is my first post and have 3 issues I hope other impala owners dealt with.I read where on other makes of police cars, the owner can unplug a wire under the dash so the int lights come on when the drivers door is opened. Is there a way for the Impala?I removed the white light on the ceiling above the drivers seat and wonder how to cover the circle, maybe a factory looking light(?)Has anyone done this? Should lights under the dash come on also besides the ceiling light? And last,,I would like to have a console like most other impalas have.I thought about having a cup holder where the shift handle would be.Is there a console made for this car that wouldn't look as strange as a factory shifter console? The dark mode and the ceiling hole are the two I would like to fix most. Thanks for any help!

I'd go to a junk yard and see what you can find for a ceiling light and console.

As for the dark mode, I can't be much help.

As said, your best bet for the light and console is a salvage yard. As far as dark mode is concerned, get in contact with Kerr Industries. They are the upfitters for GM, Ford, and FCA law enforcement vehicles.
Kerr Industries - Get the Vehicle You Want, The Way You Want.
My 2008 Impala 9C3 went to them. They were able to look mine up by VIN and sent me the details.

impala

Thanks for the info, been having a tough stretch here with all the issues. Now,I put on dozens of brakes over many years, but these are driving me nuts.I put on as normal and the rotor wont move, both sides, never happened to me before.Ill try new guide pins and if that wont free up the rotor ill buy new calipers.
