1966 SS 396 4-speed convertible

Hello, I would like to preface this by saying that I am creating this listing for my father. If I cannot answer a question you may have, PM me and I can give you his number and you can speak with him.

I am selling a white 1966 Impala SS 396 convertible with a manual 4-speed transmission.

Above is the car after it was bought it in 2010.

The original owner had the engine bored .30 over at 105k but stopped driving it in 1976; although she ran the car every Saturday until we bought it. The car has always been garage kept. We have all the original paperwork.

Although the car originally came with a 396, it is not the original engine. The current engine is from a '66 chevelle and was swapped in-period without the owner's knowledge.

The car has not been driven since, due to starting a frame-off restoration which started in 2011 and never got completed. It is on rollers, covered up in a concrete-floored pole building.

This is what it looks like now:

A body shop removed the body, replaced the floor pan, quarter panels, windshield, painted the car, installed new trim, seals and bushing then put the body back on the frame in 2016.

The car has:

4 new 60 series tires
4 new custom gray 5 spoke wheels
4 new shocks and springs
Everything new in the steering, tie rods, ball joints, A-arm bushings, rods, sway bar bushings
Every bushing for rear suspension is new
New body mount bushings
New front to rear fuel lines and brake lines steel and rubber hoses
New e brake cables front to rear
New rear brakes, springs , wheel cylinders and drums
New front disc brake conversion kit
New power brake booster , master cylinder and hose conversion kit
New power steering pump ,box ,hoses and bracket conversion kit
2 new front bucket seats and rear are original fair condition
New carpet for the floor
Engine and transmission were pressure washed and painted
New fuel pump
New starter
New tune up
New water pump and exhaust manifold gaskets and studs/bolts
New centerforce clutch, pressure plate and t bearing

The car needs new exhaust system and battery,
The grill has a few dents and bumpers are in average condition.

We have all the reciepts.
We have pictures of everything

We're near Hershey, PA

Pick-up only.

We are looking to get $18,000 for eveything.
