Not too far off topic - Teardrop campers?

Anyone have a teardrop trailer they pull with their Impala? I am in the process of buying a little guy trailer:

(Little Guy Teardrop Trailers - Home)

I'm not sure if the Impala can handle the 5 wide trailer or not. Anyone have any experience with these?

Well, it's 970lbs, so theoretically it should be ok, but on the other hand it is an impala, with an impala transmission. I would say get a tranny cooler, and take it very easy when towing. You should be alright...

In the UK they pull trailers all day with tiny little low powered cars. Definitely get a trans cooler though.

That video had to have won some kind of award. It was funny when the car went up the hill and hilarious when it came down.

You should be totally fine, especially with the cooler installed. I recently sold my car and looking for a new one, having in mind that it should handle a Teardrop Trailer. . But me and my wife are still arguing and deciding what to get, a bit sick of that)
