Cowboybob76 Yep still had original engine and trans... no major work done other than the usual brakes, hubs, struts, etc....

RossoRacer Holy crap, 349,000 is pretty astronomical, and 396,000 even more so. And here I thought I was sitting pretty at 271,000. Was this on original engine/transmission? Mine is still original, though it could use a new transmission and has had an intake manifold(I think that's what the dealer called it....car was using some oil and that was the fix) replaced in the last few thousand miles.

Cowboybob76 Not sure if it still counts... my 2003 has 396000.... but sadly has finally succumbed to a blown head gasket.....

[email protected] My 2000 Impala with the 3.4 just hit 349,000. Original family, original engine and transmission. Transmission started slipping today, looking at finding someone to rebuild it. What is a good price?

My 2001 3.4 V-6 Impala (Base) has 78,256 miles on the odometer.

Who can beat that with a higher number (Converted to Miles)?

Posting here will provide an easy way to see who has the most enduring ride.

We would love to hear your story and experiences.

2015 2lt

95,000 miles.

No brakes needed yet, just tires and of course a bunch of oil changes, I travel all over for my business so this is a pretty comfortable car for that. Hence the upgraded stereo, Iím in the damn car 10 hrs a day it seems lol. Tomorrow marks to 2 years of having it, bought it new. So over 45,000 miles a yr

I wish mine was good on gas. Poor thing get like 20mpg. The o2 sensors are faulty so it runs a little funny at times.

Decimus I guess I'm going to take this one. 303.3k. Do I get a prize?

Repairs were pretty standard outside if the transmission leak. Brake pads, rotors, strut tops, strut towers, One head gasket change, some recalled parts. I love my '07. Still purrs.

Dwayne J Not any higher but the wife's bought new 2003 with 3.4l had 237k without a major repairs, never even changed a sensor. Intake gaskets at 142k, waterpump at 215k few wheelbearings and brakes along the way, one set of plugs, only two sets of tires purchased after originals.

Cheapest car I have ever owned by a large margin even though I HATED being in it, seats did not work for me at all.

retiredpauly Not sure that many people are viewing this thread.
Some things come on here and show good interest to start with and then just fade away.
They take a "bump" every now and then to garner more interest.

951500winger Now 262,000 miles....

951500winger Ferrari,
Honestly not that much.
Brakes & rotors several times, two or three wheel bearings, replaced the original spark plugs at 150,000, likely due again. Front struts around 100,000 and at time of transmission rebuild at 252000 I replaced all struts all around and alignment. Alternator once. Original water pump. Coolant temp sensor, original exhaust although I had to replace the exhaust flex pipe at the engine. Couple of door lock actuators, couple of HVAC actuators.
The only current issue is a quirkie thing with the transmission torque converter unlocking when it goes to AFM in 3 cylinder mode. This issue came up after the rebuild.

It's been a great trouble free car. Sure it's had its minor things. But I am sure some of just been worn out.
The wife used to drive it for her work, sometimes driving 1000-1200 miles per week. Now I drive it about 350-400 miles per week every week..

I look forward to 300,000 miles, then we will just see from there. At this point no reason it shouldn't.

Ferrari 951500winger,

Thank you for posting.
Beautiful interior.
You set the bar at 258,000 miles.
Impressive.
What items have you replaced other than tires, batteries, oil and gas?
EGR, MAP, Sensors, cabin filter?
How often?

Welcome to the forum..
New here myself..
