AC75 My Grand Marquis has the auto-dim mirror and I agree, it's a great option. Some of the non-limited Roadmasters do have it, but not all. I'll check out the GM Longroof forum. Thanks

Steve Smith I'd start by getting a copy of the wiring diagram that supplies power to the auto-dim mirror. If possible, find a fully equipped Roadie in a salvage yard and carefully remove all the plastic interior trim pieces covering the harness. Then without damaging this harness, remove the entire section. For more info contact owners at the gm longroof forums web site.
My '96 Roadmaster wagon has this option and I love it.

Installing Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror???

I got a factory auto-dimming rear view mirror laying around that I pulled from a wrecker a couple years ago. My current Roadmaster lacks this option and I'd like to swap it in. Can it be done? What's required? Is it just plug and play?

I think the mirror came out of a 1995 (possibly 1994) and my car is a 1995 as well.
